I’m the mom of an amazing kid and I was wrecking his confidence and our relationship by taking things out on him.
What had me so stressed? I’ve been in education since 2001 professionally. Burnout, strained relationships with co-workers & bosses, being surrounded by miserable complainers, kids who don’t listen, and several back to back life-altering events, make me an expert at being drained and stressed.
I got tired of living that way and got intentional about improving the way I communicate and the way I see the world.
Now, I have more joy than I’ve ever known!
